MMPA 6542 Walden University International Court of Justice Discussion
Picking an organization to evaluate is an important part of this course. It can also be trickier than it sounds. Some organizations are easier to examine and evaluate than others. Some are secretive about their inner workings, others transparent. Picking the right organization is an important part of embarking on a successful Final Project. This Blog Entry asks you to think carefully about how to select an organization for the project and share your thoughts with your classmates.
For example, what are the different kinds of international organizations that students can consider? How can you, as a student, identify organizations that would be good subjects of this kind of study?
Questions like these may aid you in selecting an organization for further exploration and study.
For this Blog Entry, select an organization you will use for the Final Project. You may select any organization that has connections across borders, whether this organization is governmental, intergovernmental, or non-governmental. Consider which criteria you might use when selecting an organization. Your target audience for this Blog Entry is the group of students in this course.
Post by Day 3 a Blog Entry that explains your process and criteria for selecting the organization for your Final Project. Be sure to provide clear and specific criteria for how you selected the organization with at least three elements that drove your thinking about selection. Be clear and specific in explaining how you made your choice. My Choice is International Court of Justice or if you would like to pick something different. I would like your help through out this course with this.
2nd Part
For this part of the Final Project, you will discuss this organization and why you selected it for study. The Project Proposal is the starting point for the Final Project. It outlines your organization, its mission, and why you chose the organization.
This Project Proposal will be a short (400- to 500-word) description of the organization and the reasons why you selected this organization. You may select any organization that has connections across borders, whether this organization is governmental, intergovernmental, or non-governmental.
The Project Proposal must contain the following:
- The name of the organization you have selected
- A description of the mission of the organization
- An explanation of why you selected that organization for your project
